Radharc na Mara (translates to Seaview) is run by the Sharry family who are catering for accommodation needs of tourists visiting the Aran Islands for many years. The building, originally a purpose built Holiday Hostel is undergoing some upgrading work at present and we can't wait for the next stage to get underway.  In the meantime we are offering hostel-style dormitory and private room accommodation for a short visit or getaway to the island. Affordable snacks and meals are readily available from the wide range of food outlets nearby.

Inis Oírr is the perfect stop-over for those travelling the West Coast of Ireland as ferries serve the island from Doolin in Co. Clare and Rossaveal in Co. Galway so those who travel from Doolin can continue their journey onwards to Galway City or vice versa.

Radharc na Mara is generally open from Easter to the end of August each year but this period could be extended on occasion so please check with us if you do intend to travel during the winter months.
In the off-season period when the tourist numbers decline this is a great location for groups to come together to work / study or experience island life.  In the last number of years groups of artists, writers and musicians have used the building as a base while they expanded their portfolios in these unique surroundings.
